Ask plain-language questions about your energy data on Amplifi Admin and Mobile, with ready-made Presets.
Open the assistant
In Amplifi Admin, click the AI icon in the header to open the assistant drawer. Chat history is retained for about 48 hours. Use Clear history when you want a fresh start.
In the Amplifi Android app, open AI from the project header (when your persona includes ai.use). The assistant uses the same project context.
Presets
Select Presets to open a side panel of ready-made prompts. Sections expand and collapse; Energy starts expanded, while Actions, Solar, Site, and Workspace start collapsed.
Actions: list dashboards and reports, check automations, open the latest scheduled report, show notifications, or ask about device counts and unassigned devices.
Energy: yesterday / today / week / month usage and week-over-week comparison.
Solar: appears when the project has generation devices (solar yesterday, solar vs consumption).
Site and Workspace: meter trees, devices, and inventory-style questions about dashboards, reports, and automations.
- Dock Presets on the left or right of the chat panel in admin.
- You can still type any free-text question in the composer — Presets are shortcuts, not limits.
Answers and follow-ups
Answers can include short text plus structured blocks such as KPI rows, tables, and bullet lists. When a run produces a report or dashboard link, the assistant may show an Open report or Open dashboard action.
Be specific about the time period (today, this week, last month) and the site or meter context for the best results. Select a project before asking — the assistant needs an active project.
