Meter trees
Build the hierarchy that organises meters and feeds Overview, dashboards, and reports.
What meter trees are
A meter tree defines how devices and sub-meters roll up into sections (floors, plant rooms, tenants, and so on). Overview, dashboards, and reports reference meter tree nodes as data sources.
Overview for a project requires at least one electrical meter tree. If you have several trees, Overview includes a tree picker.
Edit a meter tree
Open Meter trees from the project menu, search by name, then open a tree in the builder. Drag nodes to reorganise the hierarchy and assign devices to nodes.
Mark devices as consumption or generation where relevant — generation meters unlock solar views on Overview, AI Solar presets, and net-site options.
- You can generate a new dashboard from a meter tree when creating a dashboard in the builder.
